Hugel announced on Monday that it hosted an international medical conference, AES 2026, from October 14 to 16 at leading educational institutions and hospitals across South Korea.

The Aesthetic Excellence Summit (AES) is a sub-program of Hugel’s global academic symposium, H.E.L.F. Held biannually, it offers overseas medical professionals theoretical and hands-on training related to Hugel’s products. This year’s event drew over 20 aesthetic medicine practitioners from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.

The three-day program included facility tours, anatomical workshops, and clinical demonstrations. On day one, participants toured Hugel’s production facility, examining manufacturing processes and quality control systems. They also engaged in experiential learning to understand botulinum toxin’s mechanism of action and product diffusion characteristics. The day concluded with an overview of hyaluronic acid (HA) filler production materials.

The second day featured anatomical practice and procedural training at the Catholic Applied Anatomy Research Institute. Dr. Lee Kyu-ho and Dr. Yoon Chang-il from U&I Clinic in Mokdong, alongside Professor Kim Soo-bin from Wonkwang University School of Dentistry, demonstrated injection techniques for botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, emphasizing anatomically-based safety protocols.

On the final day, Dr. Seo Hyun-woo from Shin Nonhyeon Vibe Plastic Surgery presented cutting-edge procedural trends and area-specific techniques, followed by a live clinical demonstration.

Through this event, Hugel aimed to foster international academic exchange and share product insights and clinical experiences. By educating foreign medical professionals on product quality and application techniques, the company seeks to bolster global trust in K-Aesthetics.

Shin Seung-jun, Executive Vice President of Hugel’s Medical Division, stated that it’s committed to consistently promoting the philosophy and scientific foundation of K-Aesthetics, along with Hugel’s quality edge, to the international medical community.

Meanwhile, Hugel reported record-breaking financial results for the first half of this year, driven by strong sales of botulinum toxin and fillers.

According to consolidated financial statements, Hugel posted revenues of 254.5 billion KRW (approximately 191 million USD), operating profit of 103.7 billion KRW (around 77.9 million USD), and net profit of 85.3 billion KRW (about 64 million USD) for the first half of 2026. These figures represent year-over-year increases of 27.2%, 8.4%, and 23.5% respectively, marking the company’s best first-half performance to date.

The growth trajectory continued into the second quarter, with revenues reaching 137.9 billion KRW (about 103 million USD), operating profit at 56 billion KRW (approximately 42 million USD), and net profit at 44.7 billion KRW (around 33.6 million USD). While revenues and net profits saw year-over-year increases of 25.1% and 17.1% respectively, operating profit remained steady due to investments in establishing a direct sales system in the U.S. and strategic marketing initiatives.
