ZICO has announced his return from a producer to an artist, promising a dynamic impact.
ZICO is currently active as an artist and the representative producer of KOZ Entertainment, a label under HYBE. Last year, he established his reputation as a producer by overseeing the production of BOYNEXTDOOR, a boy band launched by KOZ Entertainment. He will return as a musician after a long time through his new digital single “SPOT! (feat. Jennie),” to be released on the 26th.
“SPOT!” is ZICO’s first official release after a year and nine months since his mini-album was released in July 2022. The song is a hip-hop track filled with ZICO’s emotions, featuring Blackpink’s Jennie, a powerhouse in music charts. The collaboration of ZICO, known for his rhythmic and sophisticated rap, and Jennie, with her charming vocals, is already generating significant buzz. A making-of video for the new song posted on ZICO’s official YouTube channel on the 21st quickly reached the ranks of Korea’s YouTube trending charts for two days (22nd and 23rd), proving its popularity.
ZICO is loved for his trend-setting music, from “Any Song” and “Sae-bbing” that led the dance challenge craze, to “Okey Dokey” and “Tell Me Yes Or No (Feat.
