Timothée Chalamet of Dune: Part Two expressed his thoughts on visiting Korea.
On the 21st, a press conference for the movie Dune: Part Two (directed by Denis Villeneuve) was held at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Denis Villeneuve, Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Austin Butler, and Stellan Skarsgård, who shared their stories.
On this day, Timothée Chalamet said, “This is my second visit to Korea, and I am truly happy and grateful to be able to come to Korea.” He then mentioned his works Wonka and Dune: Part Two, saying, “I am deeply grateful for the hospitality you have shown me in Korea, more than anywhere else in the world.”
Zendaya said, “It’s so amazing,” and “I think it’s a fortune to visit Korea for the first time. As soon as I landed at the airport, I felt grateful because of the warm welcome.” She added, “I am happy to be in Korea, and it is an honor and a fortune to be able to participate in a work that I am proud of with these people.”
Austin Butler said, “I strongly agree with what Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya said. As soon as I landed at the airport, I was warmly and kindly welcomed.” He said, “I am happy to be in Korea. Korean movies are my favorite movies in the world. I wanted to come to Korea, and I am very grateful to be here.”
Meanwhile, Dune: Part Two is an action blockbuster that follows Paul (played by Timothée Chalamet), who has realized his abilities and awoken, on his journey of revenge to find the destiny of a warrior. It will be released in Korea on the 28th.
