ENHYPEN achieved double million-seller status just five days after its comeback.
According to the album sales aggregation site Hanteo Chart on the 17th, ENHYPEN’s second full-length album, ROMANCE: UNTOLD, had sold 2,113,143 copies as of the 16th.
With this achievement, ENHYPEN has successfully attained double million-seller status for the first time since its debut within the initial sales period (album sales within one week after release).
ENHYPEN has been steadily climbing the ladder of success. They started with initial sales of 810,000 copies for their first full-length album, DIMENSION: DILEMMA. Subsequently, their third mini-album, MANIFESTO: DAY 1, sold 1.24 million copies, followed by the fourth mini-album, DARK BLOOD, with 1.32 million copies, and the fifth mini-album, ORANGE BLOOD, achieving 1.87 million copies in sales. Their latest achievement, ROMANCE: UNTOLD, saw them reach a remarkable 2 million copies sold, marking a career-high.
ENHYPEN also made a significant impact on Japan’s Oricon music chart. According to the latest chart released by Oricon on the 16th (for July 15th), ROMANCE: UNTOLD sold 104,228 copies on its first day of release in Japan, immediately securing the top spot on the Daily Album Ranking. To date, ENHYPEN has achieved top rankings for all ten albums released in Korea and Japan on the Oricon Daily Album Rankings, underscoring its steadfast popularity in the region.
Meanwhile, ROMANCE: UNTOLD tells the story of a boy who pledges loyalty to you, someone who inspires him to become a better person. The title track, “XO (Only If You Say Yes),” is a pop genre song that unfolds the romantic fantasy of a boy willing to do anything as long as you allow it.
