Billie Eilish has recently achieved a new milestone by becoming the most-streamed artist of the month.

After releasing her third studio album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, in May, Universal Music announced today that Billie Eilish has surpassed 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify over the last 28 days. They highlighted that only three artists in the platform’s history have reached this milestone, with Eilish being the youngest among them.

HIT ME HARD AND SOFT continues to dominate the charts. The track “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” from the album has topped multiple charts this summer. Following its release, it remained on Spotify’s Global Top 50 for 13 weeks and has been number one on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US charts for two consecutive weeks.

Recently, Eilish has been in the spotlight for various activities. In June, she visited South Korea to meet fans and appeared on TV and web shows. She performed “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics and a preview event for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics on the 12th, captivating audiences with her performance on a Los Angeles beach.

In 2019, Eilish made waves with her debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, which topped both the US and U.K. charts simultaneously. Her breakout single, “bad guy,” reached number one on Billboard’s Hot 100, making her the youngest artist born in the 21st century (2001) to achieve this milestone. The album earned six Grammy nominations the following year and won five, including all four major categories: Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. At just 18, Eilish became the youngest artist ever to sweep these top awards.

Eilish also made history by winning the Best Original Song Oscar at the 96th Academy Awards for her track “What Was I Made For?” from the 2023 film Barbie. This achievement made her the youngest artist to win the award twice. Additionally, the song earned accolades at the 66th Grammy Awards, winning Best Song Written for Visual Media and being named Song of the Year.
