K-pop singer HYNN (Park Hye Won) has been chosen as the first artist for the soundtrack of The Fiery Priest 2.

On Saturday at 6 p.m., Big Ocean ENM, a comprehensive entertainment company, will release HYNN’s “Fighter,” part of the SBS drama The Fiery Priest 2 OST Part.1, on all online music streaming sites.

“Fighter” reflects the character of Father Kim Hae Il (played by Kim Nam Gil), a hot-blooded Catholic priest who cannot tolerate injustice. Singer Jung Dong Ha contributed to the song in The Fiery Priest soundtrack. With the announcement of The Fiery Priest 2′s production, the song has been newly arranged in response to viewers’ enthusiastic requests.

As the first artist for the soundtrack, HYNN is known for her powerful high notes and ability to convey both mid and low tones with delicate expression. Her collaboration with the tough and energetic track “Fighter” raises expectations about the synergy they will create.

The lineup of the song’s creators also draws attention. Music director Gaemi, known for producing hit soundtracks for dramas such as Descendants of the Sun and Love in the Moonlight, participated in composing the track, while singer-songwriter Ra.L. wrote the lyrics. Also, Nochexintoma is known for his unique musical style and features on the track, adding to its completeness.

Meanwhile, The Fiery Priest 2 follows the story of Kim Hae Il, a passionate priest with anger management issues who serves as a priest by day and as a boss in the “Bellato” by night. In Busan, he partners with various forces to take on the country’s largest drug cartel in a collaborative investigation. The drama will depict the story of the new “Gudam Avengers,” who begin their mission to issue express tickets to hell against the massive drug cartel involving prosecutors, police, and organized crime. The first episode airs on Saturday at 10 p.m.
