On Sunday, MBC’s new variety show, Good Day, released a preview featuring a long-awaited reunion between singer G-Dragon and comedian Jung Hyung Don. In the clip, G-Dragon showcased his spot-on comedic timing alongside music producer Code Kunst, delivering plenty of laughs.

During their reunion, Code Kunst remarked, “I’ve seen you as Kwon Ji Yong before, but this is my first time meeting G-Dragon.” G-Dragon replied with a playful quip, “I’ve pretty much been on hiatus from my G-Dragon activities, so I’ve just been binge-watching TV for the past seven years, like an Oldboy.” He added, “Whenever I watch TV, you’re always on. It’s funny because I laugh at moments that aren’t even supposed to be funny. I realized we have the same offbeat sense of humor.”

G-Dragon also reminisced about their first encounter at a hair salon, saying, “I think I immediately told you, ‘We should hang out sometime.’ After that, we’d run into each other around the neighborhood every now and then.” When G-Dragon mentioned that he still found it amusing, Code Kunst pointed out that their outfits matched in pink tones, laughing, “This is hilarious too.”

Meanwhile, Good Day is a unique music project in which G-Dragon teams up with personalities from various fields to create this year’s hit song. As the show’s producer, G-Dragon will bring viewers along as he transforms the personal stories of his collaborators into music. The show, which takes on a reality-variety format, promises bright and engaging content. G-Dragon is joined on this musical adventure by his friends Jung Hyung Don, Defconn, Jo Se Ho, and Code Kunst.
