Kia has unveiled a series of teasers for its next-generation electric vehicles. The company aims to revolutionize the electric vehicle market’s paradigm.
On Thursday, Kia released teaser images and videos for two new models and one concept car: the Kia EV4, the Kia PV5, and the Kia Concept EV2. These vehicles will be unveiled for the first time at the 2025 Kia EV Day event.
Full details on these models will be revealed later this month at Kia EV Day in Tarragona, Spain.
The EV4 is an electric sedan first showcased as a concept car at Kia EV Day in 2023. It is Kia’s fourth electric vehicle introduced to the domestic market, following the EV6, EV9, and EV3. In a teaser image, Kia unveiled the silhouette of the EV4’s side profile, giving a glimpse into the direction of the next-generation electric sedan.
The PV5 is the first model in Kia’s purpose-built vehicle (PBV) lineup, initially unveiled as a concept car at CES last year. Built on a new PBV-specific platform, it combines practicality with a robust, future-oriented design. The vehicle is expected to be utilized in various ways by applying design features such as Kia’s Starmap signature lighting, a streamlined body, and clean surfaces.
The Concept EV2 is a compact electric SUV with a sturdy build. It is designed for both urban environments and outdoor adventures.
A Kia spokesperson stated, “At the 2025 Kia EV Day, we will unveil an expanded electrification strategy to transform the electric vehicle market. Additionally, we’ll present our comprehensive PBV business and product strategy, which begins with introducing our first dedicated PBV, the PV5.”
