LG Energy Solution has again won the InterBattery Awards for its innovative cylindrical battery technology and electric vehicle (EV) battery management services, following its success last year.
On Monday, the company announced that its 46 series cylindrical cell, CAS (Cell Array Structure) solution, and B-Lifecare were the winners of the InterBattery Awards 2025.
The Korea Battery Industry Association presented these awards ahead of InterBattery 2025, which will take place over three days starting March 5 at COEX in Samseong-dong.
The awards recognize products and technologies for their technological excellence, innovation, market potential, and contributions to industry advancement.
This is LG Energy Solution’s second consecutive win, following last year’s recognition of its Mid-Ni Pure NCM technology.
The 46 series cylindrical cell and CAS solution offer an energy capacity of at least five times greater than traditional cylindrical batteries. They also have fast charging capabilities and superior space efficiency. The company has enhanced battery safety through its proprietary thermal diffusion prevention technology.
B-Lifecare is an advanced service that analyzes driving and charging patterns to provide real-time diagnostics of EV battery conditions and personalized battery management solutions.
Since its launch in 2021, the service has attracted over 10,000 users. It offers customized solutions powered by the country’s largest EV battery database.
