On Monday, Selvas AI, Mediana, and ezCaretech announced a partnership to jointly develop an AI-powered smart ward integrated solution and expand their operations both domestically and internationally.

This collaboration aims to create and commercialize a cutting-edge smart ward solution that seamlessly integrates artificial intelligence, patient monitoring devices, and electronic medical records (EMR).

By combining their core technologies, the three companies plan to build a comprehensive system that analyzes patient biometric data in real-time and streamlines healthcare professionals’ workflows.

The partnership will focus on several key areas: integrating patient monitoring device data with EMR in real-time, developing an artificial intelligence (AI) driven patient status analysis and early warning system (EWS), automating medical records using voice recognition technology, planning and commercializing smart integrated package products, and implementing pilot programs in hospitals.

After refining the solution through trials in domestic hospitals, the companies will jointly target overseas markets, including the Middle East. ezCaretech, drawing on its experience providing hospital information systems (HIS) to Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA), will spearhead the global expansion efforts.

Selvas AI will contribute its expertise in AI analysis algorithms based on patient biometric signals, early risk prediction models, and voice recognition-based medical record automation solutions.

Mediana will provide multi-parameter patient monitoring device data and support medical device integration technology.

ezCaretech will develop the EMR integration interface and the system’s user interface and experience (UI/UX). Their goal is to streamline hospital workflows and implement an AI-powered early response system for detecting abnormal patient conditions.

The partnership is expected to reduce the workload of healthcare professionals and improve bed management efficiency through voice-activated medical record automation.

Hong Woo-sun, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ezCaretech, stated that this collaboration will enhance our data integration platform capabilities centered on HIS and accelerate our expansion into global markets.

Kwak Min-cheol, CEO of both Selvas AI and Mediana, added that it aims to develop a solution that simultaneously enhances patient safety and healthcare professionals’ efficiency through the smart ward model, which integrates AI, medical devices, and EMR.
