T’way Air cabin crew demonstrated their proficiency in emergency response, saving a passenger’s life during a recent flight. This incident highlights the effectiveness of T’way Air’s rigorous safety training programs.

On Wednesday, T’way Air reported that a passenger lost consciousness on flight TW033 from Incheon to Nha Trang, Vietnam.

The alert crew immediately informed the captain and issued a doctor paging announcement to locate medical professionals on board while assessing the patient’s condition.

Crew members swiftly moved the passenger to the rear of the aircraft and administered emergency care, including oxygen support.

With the assistance of an on-board nurse, the crew monitored the patient’s status, maintaining constant communication with the captain and ground medical support. They utilized the emergency medical kit to administer saline solution and other necessary treatments.

Thanks to the crew’s quick action and passenger cooperation, the patient’s blood pressure stabilized, and they regained consciousness.

The nurse who provided assistance later commended the crew through the National Public Service Center, stating that the crew’s systematic response ensured a safe resolution to this critical situation. Their dedication to saving a life was truly impressive.

T’way Air regularly conducts comprehensive safety training for all cabin crew, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation, to prepare for in-flight emergencies.

Additionally, the airline partners with the Fire Agency for practical training in fire suppression and emergency evacuation procedures.

A T’way Air spokesperson stated that this incident demonstrates the success of the systematic training that prioritizes passenger safety. It remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of safe operations and service quality.
