LG Electronics will host a special exhibition at the luxury department store Printemps in New York, where customers can experience the picture quality of LG organic light-emitting diode (OLED) television (TVs) through immersive art content.

On Wednesday, LG Electronics announced that it has been invited as a partner to participate in a commemorative exhibition celebrating the first anniversary of the Printemps department store’s opening. The exhibition will run through April 27. At the exhibition, LG will showcase works by four artists centered around the theme of flowers, presented on LG OLED TVs.

The New York Printemps department store is the flagship store of the French luxury retail brand Printemps and has gained attention as a new hotspot on Wall Street. It is a multi-cultural space that hosts not only shopping but also concerts, parties, and preview events. It is well known for its curated brand selection and sophisticated interior design.

LG Electronics stated that being invited as a partner for the first anniversary exhibition is meaningful, as it reflects recognition of the picture quality and design of its OLED TVs.

At the exhibition, visitors can experience vivid media art through the LG OLED G5 evo. The exhibition will also be viewable on the transparent, wireless TV LG Signature OLED T, which will be displayed at the center of the store, allowing customers to appreciate the artwork from a full 360-degree perspective.

In conjunction with the exhibition, LG Electronics will also operate a special Printemps section within LG Gallery+, its art content service for LG TVs. By accessing LG Gallery+ via LG’s smart TV platform webOS, users can view 30 digital artworks from the participating artists for free.

LG Gallery+ is a service that allows users to turn their LG TVs into digital canvases, enabling them to enjoy art, games, and other content while enhancing their interior spaces. The platform recently surpassed 5,000 pieces of content.

LG Electronics continues to strengthen LG Gallery+ by expanding partnerships with major global museums such as The National Gallery, London, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, as well as art platforms like Saatchi Art and Sedition.

Kwak Do-young, Executive Vice President and Head of LG Electronics North America, said that this collaborative exhibition at Printemps, a premium space in New York, is a recognition of the superior picture quality and design competitiveness of LG OLED TVs. It will continue to expand the art marketing efforts based on the outstanding visual performance of LG OLED TVs, which bring artworks to life.
