The group Cortis has cemented their status as a global phenomenon in the music industry, making waves across North America and beyond with their latest hit “REDRED”.

The title track from Cortis’ sophomore mini-album made an explosive debut, clinching the top spot on YouTube’s Trending Worldwide chart just a day after its release on Tuesday. The music video racked up an impressive 3.2 million views within 24 hours, and by 7 a.m. on the 22nd, it had climbed the trending music charts in 24 countries and regions.

In a significant milestone, the track secured the 22nd position on YouTube’s trending music chart in the U.S., the world’s largest music market. The group’s popularity in North America is evident, with the song reaching 13th place in Canada. Meanwhile, in their home country of Korea, “REDRED” jumped 8 spots to claim the 17th position. Cortis continues to dominate in Asia, topping charts in Taiwan and Vietnam, while securing high rankings in Indonesia (3rd), Malaysia (7th), and Singapore (8th). Their widespread appeal extends to Europe and the Middle East, demonstrating their global impact.

The group’s success on iTunes is equally impressive. As of Wednesday morning, “REDRED” had claimed top spots on the Songs charts in 14 regions, including Singapore and Turkey. In Indonesia and Thailand, the track maintained its reign at number one for two consecutive days.

The momentum from Cortis’s previous release is still going strong. Their debut mini-album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES made a surprising comeback, topping the Billboard World Albums chart as of April 25. This resurgence, eight months after its initial release, has pushed album sales past 2.06 million copies according to Circle Chart, shattering the record for the highest-selling debut K-pop album.

To kick off their promotional activities, Cortis is set to unveil their first performance video on the official YouTube channel “Studio Dance” of Mnet Digital Studio M2 at 10:00 p.m. (Korean time) on Wednesday.
