Today, Kia announced the release of a teaser video series, “One More Round,” highlighting the development process of Kia Tasman, the brand’s first genuine pickup truck. The video captures the adventurous spirit of the Tasman, emphasizing its daily challenges to surpass higher standards. The series delves into the backstory of the Tasman’s development, a journey marked by over 18,000 rigorous tests. For more than four years, Kia has conducted extensive testing across various regions, including Korea, the US, Sweden, Australia, and the Middle East, to ensure the production of high-quality vehicles.

The video series features a range of test segments, including off-road testing, a segment in Doha, Qatar, track testing, and real-road testing in Australia to enhance durability and regional optimization. Lastly, it includes an interview with a development researcher. These segments will be released sequentially from July 22 to October.

Kia plans to hold a world premiere event in the second half of 2024 to fully reveal the Tasman to the public for the first time. Then, they plan to launch and sell Tasman sequentially in Australia, Africa, and the Middle East, starting with South Korea in the first half of 2025.
