Audi Korea officially launched its new mid-size all-electric SUV, the New Audi Q6 e-tron, on Tuesday, announcing that sales will begin on Friday.

The New Audi Q6 e-tron is the first mass-produced model built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE). This dedicated EV architecture enhances battery performance, charging efficiency, and dynamic driving capabilities.

The vehicle received the highest 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP safety tests, proving its outstanding safety across all categories. Notably, it earned an impressive 91% score in adult occupant protection, coming close to a perfect rating.

The Q6 e-tron, manufactured at Audi’s Ingolstadt plant in Germany, has a 100 kWh high-voltage battery engineered for optimal compatibility with the PPE platform and 800V architecture.

In the Quattro Premium trim, based on European WLTP standards, the vehicle supports ultra-fast 270 kW charging, allowing it to go from 10% to 80% battery capacity in approximately 21 minutes. Additionally, a 10-minute charge ranges around 255 kilometers (158 miles).

The Q6 e-tron is available in four trim levels: Performance, Performance Premium, Quattro Premium, and SQ6 e-tron. The Performance and Performance Premium models deliver 255 kW of maximum output and 49.46 kg.m (357 lb-ft) of peak torque. They can achieve a top speed of 210 kilometers per hour (130 miles per hour) and accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (0 to 62 miles per hour) in 6.7 seconds.

The Quattro Premium trim generates a combined output of 285 kW, with 28.04 kg.m (203 lb-ft) of torque at the front axle and 59.14 kg.m (427 lb-ft) at the rear, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (0 to 62 miles per hour) in just 5.9 seconds. The high-performance SQ6 e-Tron shares the same torque figures as the Quattro Premium but boasts a higher combined output of 360 kW, rocketing from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (0 to 62 miles per hour) in just 4.4 seconds.

In terms of driving range, the Performance and Performance Premium trims can travel up to 468 kilometers (291 miles) on a single charge (based on combined city and highway driving), while the Quattro Premium offers a 400-kilometer (249-mile) range, and the SQ6 e-tron achieves 412 kilometers (256 miles). Each trim features a specialized suspension system: sports suspension for the Performance Premium, adaptive air suspension for the Quattro Premium, and adaptive S air suspension for the SQ6 e-tron, ensuring optimal ride comfort and driving dynamics.
