Hyundai Motor and Kia achieved record-breaking sales of over 165,000 units in the U.S. market this July, marking their best-ever performance for the month. This represents a 5.0% increase compared to the same period last year. The impressive results were largely driven by a significant surge in hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) sales.
The Hyundai Motor Group reported on Monday that the combined U.S. sales of Hyundai and Kia reached 165,284 units last month, up 5.0% from July 2022. Hyundai (including Genesis) saw a 3.7% increase with 89,427 units sold, while Kia experienced a 6.7% growth, selling 75,857 units.
