Billboard has selected BOYNEXTDOOR as its K-Pop Rookie of the Month for October. They also published an article on its website titled “BOYNEXTDOOR Wants to Redefine Who the Boy Next Door Represents,” bringing attention to this rising group.
The publication highlighted BOYNEXTDOOR’s mini album 19.99, debuting at No. 40 on the Billboard 200 and securing the group’s first No. 1 on the World Albums chart.
In its praise, Billboard noted, “The group showcases collective creativity, with all members involved in music, storytelling, choreography, and stage production. They expand their global influence through their creativity, freedom, and relatability.”
In an interview, BOYNEXTDOOR shared, “We draw inspiration from one another. New ideas often emerge during our discussions, and this collaborative process allows all six of us to contribute to the album’s creation.”
The group also announced details about its upcoming first solo tour, BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR KNOCK ON Vol.1, which will kick off on December 14 to 15 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea.
The members expressed, “We have a variety of performances lined up for the concert, aiming to showcase both the stages our fans have been eager to see and the performances we’ve always dreamed of presenting.”
According to the latest Billboard charts released on October 22, BOYNEXTDOOR’s mini-album 19.99 secured the 27th position on the Top Album Sales chart, 23rd on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and 8th on the World Albums chart, marking five consecutive weeks on the charts. The group also ranked 17th in the Emerging Artists category, reflecting its growing popularity worldwide.
