Despite the conflict between HYBE and ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, NewJeans’ new music video is gaining popularity.

As of 9:30 a.m. on the 29th, NewJeans’ “Bubble Gum” music video had recorded 13.18 million views on YouTube. Thus, the video demonstrated its potential, surpassing 13 million views in just 57 hours after being released on HYBE’s YouTube channel at midnight on the 27th.

Moreover, this music video is popular, ranking number one on the trending music chart.

It’s particularly noteworthy that such a record was achieved amid a conflict between Min Hee Jin, the CEO of their agency ADOR, and the parent company HYBE.

In the “Bubble Gum” music video, the members of NewJeans expressed their innocent and girlish charms.

NewJeans will continue their activities by releasing their new single, “How Sweet,” on May 24th. They will also announce a new double single in Japan in June and perform at the Tokyo Dome for the first time before this. From the 29th to the 19th of next month, they will collaborate with Shibuya 109, the large shopping mall in Tokyo, Japan.

Meanwhile, HYBE began an emergency audit on the 22nd, claiming that ADOR’s Min Hee Jin and a Vice President attempted to seize control of the company. Subsequently, through the interim audit report on the 25th, they claimed to have obtained evidence of a breach of duty of CEO Min and a Vice President. They reported them to the Seoul Yongsan Police Station on charges of breach of duty that afternoon. However, CEO Min held a press conference on the 25th, completely refuting the claim. CEO Min claimed that HYBE had delayed the debut of NewJeans and made LE SSERAFIM debut first, contrary to the initial agreement with her.
