AITRICS, a medical artificial intelligence (AI) company, has been recognized as one of the World’s Best HealthTech Companies of 2026 by TIME magazine and global data analytics firm Statista, the company announced on Wednesday. AITRICS received the highest rating of Outstanding in the AI and data analytics category.

TIME and Statista analyzed health tech companies worldwide, selecting 500 firms across six categories: AI and data analytics, diagnostics, medical information and management, medical devices and wearables, prevention, and telemedicine and treatment.

Health tech combines healthcare and cutting-edge technology, leveraging AI, big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to support disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and overall health management.

The evaluation was based on three key indicators: financial performance, reputation analysis, and online engagement. Selected companies were rated as Outstanding, Very High, or High based on their overall performance and scores in each category.

AITRICS stood out particularly in financial performance, earning the top Outstanding rating. This metric assesses a company’s financial stability, growth potential, and operational efficiency, considering factors such as revenue per employee and investment capital raised. The company also scored highly in online engagement and surpassed the average in reputation analysis among selected firms.

This recognition underscores AITRICS’s success in not only developing medical AI technology but also effectively implementing it in real-world healthcare settings, gaining global acknowledgment for its achievements and growth potential.

Kim Kwang-jun, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AITRICS, commented that this recognition as a top global health tech company with the highest rating reflects the proven track record and business growth in clinical settings. It’s committed to expanding the role as a trusted partner in ensuring patient safety, not just in Korea, but in healthcare environments around the world.
