Jung Hae In and Shin Se Kyung are set to star in a new romantic drama.
Streaming platform Tving announced on Tuesday that it has greenlit the new series “Love Virus” (written by Choi Soo-young and Nam In-young, directed by Kim Seok-yoon and Choi Bo-yoon). While initially slated for JTBC, “Love Virus” will now premiere exclusively on Tving.
The rom-com follows a couple in their ninth year of dating, who decide to take a break time before tying the knot. Their goal? To ensure they have no lingering feelings for anyone else by dating new people.
Fresh off his heartwarming performance in “Our Sticky Love,” Jung Hae In is set to charm audiences once again. He’ll play Ha Do-woon, a talented lawyer and long-time boyfriend of Kang Chae-rin (Shin Se Kyung). Born into wealth as an only child, Ha Do-woon is the total package – looks, brains, and athletic prowess. His determination ensures he always achieves his goals.
Shin Se Kyung makes her small-screen comeback after a two-year hiatus following “Captivating the King.” She’ll portray Kang Chae-rin, Ha Do-woon’s girlfriend and first love. A dentist by profession, Chae-rin seems to have it all – beauty, brains, a successful career, a dreamy boyfriend, and work-life balance. However, she’s starting to question her single-minded approach to life.
Fans can look forward to the sizzling chemistry between rom-com veterans Jung Hae In and Shin Se Kyung when “Love Virus” hits Tving next year.
