North Korea informed its citizens about Israel’s airstrikes on Iran by citing the positions of allied countries such as Russia.

The Workers’ Party’s official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, reported that Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, expressed serious concerns last week about Israel’s attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The paper also provided detailed coverage, citing Iranian newspapers, that on June 19, Iran deployed over 100 various combat and suicide drones to strike military targets, particularly anti-aircraft systems, in Haifa and Tel Aviv, Israel.

On page 1, an article titled “Joy of Harvest Overflows in Fields with Promising Wheat and Barley Crops” showcased agricultural achievements. The newspaper reported a bumper crop of wheat and barley on farms nationwide this year, with expected yields matching actual harvests.

Page 2 emphasized that officials must redouble their efforts to establish a culture of selfless service to the people within their party. The paper urged that workers (officials) must maintain the perspective that they exist for the people and should never deviate from revering the people as sacred and treating them as teachers, regardless of circumstances.

Page 3 described the mountainous city in the Komdok region as a uniquely civilized mining city built under the guidance of the great party. It noted that residents feel immense gratitude for the party’s care since new housing has been constructed there.

Page 4 listed the party’s achievements following the 8th Central Committee’s 11th Plenary Session. The newspaper particularly highlighted the recent launching ceremony of the destroyer Kang Gun Ho, attributing it to the patriotic dedication of the working class.

Page 5 stated that the increasingly severe extreme weather caused by global climate change presents a critical issue that cannot be delayed in disaster prevention efforts. It emphasized the need to scientifically identify and predict risk factors for various types of disasters.
