The Vietnamese Embassy in North Korea hosted an exhibition and banquet to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations.

On Thursday, the Workers’ Party’s official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, reported on its fourth page that a photo exhibition was held the previous day at the Taedong River Diplomatic Club, organized by the Vietnamese Embassy. The paper noted that during the subsequent banquet, attendees pledged to further develop the friendly cooperative relationship between the two countries, which has reached new heights following the historic Pyongyang summit, in line with socialist principles.

On its front page, the newspaper ran an article titled, Unparalleled Palaces for Orphans and Havens for the Elderly, promoting the Workers’ Party’s policies for orphans and senior citizens. It particularly emphasized that since Kim Jong Un assumed leadership, there has been a significant increase in facilities such as orphanages, childcare centers, schools for orphans, and nursing homes.

Page 2 reported that a group of students from across the country visited the revolutionary historic site in the Paektu Mountain area on Wednesday. The paper described how the marching group laid floral tributes before the mosaic mural depicting the images of revered leaders and paid their respects.

The third page announced the construction of a new agricultural science research institute in South Pyongan Province. According to the report, the facility is equipped with various laboratories, administrative offices, an electronic library, distance learning classrooms, and dormitory accommodations.

On Page 5, an article titled, Our Party’s Local Development Policy is Truly Exceptional, was published. It claimed that less than a year after inaugurating new local industrial factories, an increasing number of specialty products are gaining popularity among the people. The paper asserted that the Party’s local development policy is scientifically sound and truthful, reaffirming that all citizens across the nation will enjoy a prosperous and cultured life.

The sixth page reported that a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated on Monday that Japan has been significantly altering its security policy in recent years and increasing its defense budget, attempting to violate its obligations as a defeated nation under international law. The newspaper added that the Chinese spokesperson emphasized their absolute rejection of Japan’s actions.
