Samsung Electronics’ home appliances and mobile devices have received widespread recognition from consumers and environmental experts for their artificial intelligence (AI)-powered energy-saving features and high-efficiency technologies.
Samsung announced on July 28 that 16 of its products—including home appliances and smartphones—were selected as 2026 Korea Green Products of the Year, an annual award organized by the nonprofit Green Purchasing Network.
The company received the largest number of awards in the industry, with 14 home appliances and two mobile products recognized.
The winning home appliance lineup includes the EHS Heat Pump Boiler, Bespoke AI WindFree Combo Gallery Pro, Bespoke AI WindFree Combo Pro Wall-Mounted Air Conditioner, Bespoke AI Combo Washer-Dryer, Bespoke AI OneBody Washer-Dryer, Bespoke AI Ice Water Purifier, Bespoke AI Hybrid Refrigerator, Bespoke AI Kimchi Refrigerator, Bespoke AI Dishwasher, Bespoke AI Steam Ultra Robot Vacuum, Bespoke AI AirDresser, Bespoke AI Induction Cooktop, Infinite Line Hood-Integrated Induction Cooktop, and Inverter Dehumidifier.
Among the winners, the Bespoke AI WindFree Combo Pro Wall-Mounted Air Conditioner and the Bespoke AI Kimchi Refrigerator also received the Consumer Favorite Award, earning dual honors.
Samsung’s EHS Heat Pump Boiler, introduced to the domestic market earlier this year, uses ambient air and electricity to provide both indoor heating and hot water. The company says it delivers energy efficiency approximately five times greater than conventional fossil-fuel boilers.
The Bespoke AI WindFree Combo Gallery Pro air conditioner features AI-powered airflow and motion sensing technology that automatically adjusts airflow based on users’ daily routines and room conditions. It also includes Samsung’s patented “Comfort Dehumidification” technology, which intelligently controls refrigerant flow to remove moisture while minimizing unnecessary cooling.
According to Samsung, the feature helps maintain a more consistent indoor temperature while reducing energy consumption by up to 30% compared with conventional dehumidification modes.
The Bespoke AI Combo all-in-one washer-dryer incorporates a high-efficiency heat pump with pre-heating technology, allowing a complete wash-and-dry cycle in as little as 69 minutes using the quick cycle. It also features AI-powered automatic detergent dispensing that learns users’ laundry habits to reduce water and detergent waste.
Samsung’s Bespoke AI Ice Water Purifier can produce up to 8 kilograms—or roughly 1,000 ice cubes—per day. It also includes an AI-powered sterilization function that automatically sanitizes both the direct water line and ice storage compartment during periods of inactivity based on usage patterns.
The Inverter Dehumidifier features a digital inverter compressor that enables all models to achieve Korea’s highest energy-efficiency rating. When AI Energy Saving Mode is enabled, electricity consumption can be reduced by up to 30%, according to the company.
In the mobile category, the Galaxy S26 series and Galaxy Book6 Pro were also selected as 2026 Korea Green Products of the Year.
Earlier this year, Samsung also received the Energy Grand Prize for the eighth consecutive year at the 29th Energy Winner Awards, hosted by the Korea Consumers Association with support from the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment and the Korea Energy Agency.
The Bespoke AI WindFree Combo Gallery Pro air conditioner earned both the Energy Grand Prize and the Minister’s Award from the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, while the Infinite Line Hood-Integrated Induction Cooktop received the Energy Technology Award for outstanding energy-efficiency innovation.
