On Wednesday, Solana Superteam Korea announced that it will host the SEOULANA HACKATHON 2025 in Seoul from April 4 to 6. This marks Solana‘s first official hackathon in South Korea.
The SEOULANA HACKATHON will be an in-person event open to developers and designers interested in Web3, including front-end and back-end developers, blockchain engineers, and UI/UX designers. Participants can build decentralized applications (dApps) on the Solana blockchain, AI-powered agents, and infrastructure tools.
The competition offers six project tracks, including the General Track, Node Consensus Network (NCN) Track, and Liquidity Staking Innovation Track, with a total prize pool of $97,000.
A panel of expert judges, featuring key figures from the Solana ecosystem, will evaluate the projects. Participants will receive technical support and mentorship, and standout projects may gain access to investment reviews and acceleration programs through the Solana Foundation and Superteam Korea.
The hackathon is backed by 22 global sponsors, including Presto, Wormhole, Zito, and Blockdaemon. Developers eager to participate can apply through the official SEOULANA HACKATHON website.
Lee Seong San, lead of Superteam Korea, emphasized the event’s broader significance, stating, “SEOULANA HACKATHON is more than just a coding competition—it’s a launchpad for expanding the Solana ecosystem in Korea. By connecting Korea’s talented developer community with global projects, we aim to drive innovation in Web3.”
