SK Intellix is ramping up its efforts to create an all-in-one wellness care platform by integrating My Healthcare, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered health consultation service, into their wellness robot NAMUHX. The company plans to offer this service to all NAMUHX owners at no extra cost.
Personalized Consultations Powered by Vital Signs
Industry insiders report that as of Tuesday, SK Intellix has launched My Healthcare, an AI health consultation service, accessible through Hi NAMUH, the dedicated app for NAMUHX.
My Healthcare is a comprehensive AI consultation service covering everything from medical information to lifestyle health tips, including sleep, diet, and exercise routines. The service generates responses using verified medical and pharmaceutical databases from reputable sources, with content vetted by specialists and professors from leading South Korean hospitals to ensure reliability.
The Vital Sign Check feature, which uses cutting-edge remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) technology built into NAMUHX, takes the personalization of this service to the next level.
Using its camera sensor, NAMUHX can detect subtle changes in skin color and blood flow, allowing it to measure five vital signs – body temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, heart activity intensity, and stress levels – in just 10 seconds, all without physical contact.
A Data-Driven Approach to Wellness
SK Intellix has designed My Healthcare to offer tailored health advice by considering both the user’s vital signs and the context of their questions. This means that even identical queries can yield different recommendations based on the user’s current physical state and stress levels at the time of inquiry.
Marketed as the world’s first wellness robot, NAMUHX combines autonomous navigation and voice control to offer integrated services like Air Solution for air quality management and Vital Sign Check. Users can monitor their indoor air quality in real-time and manage both air purification and vital sign measurements in any room, all through the Hi NAMUH app or voice commands.
The robot features natural voice interaction powered by Google’s Gemini AI. It’s also equipped with smart security and video functions, including Safe Care and Live View streaming. Additional features include a Follow Me function that allows the robot to recognize and accompany users, as well as healthcare capabilities like medication reminders, adherence tracking, and caregiver alerts for any concerning symptoms.
