Son Heung-min, captain of the Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star team and Los Angeles Football Club (LA FC) star, put on a dazzling display with multiple goals.

On Thursday, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, Son found the back of the net twice in the first half during the All-Star showdown against the Liga MX All-Stars.

Donning the captain’s armband and spearheading the attack, Son equalized in the 20th minute. He made a brilliant run into space on the left flank, latching onto a penetrating pass from Carles Gil before rifling home a powerful shot to level the score at 1-1.

This goal extended Son’s hot streak, marking his fourth consecutive game on the scoresheet, following a trio of goals in his recent club appearances.

Riding the wave of momentum, Son struck again just three minutes later. This time, he connected with a cross from Gil, who had carved open the right side of the defense. Son’s clinical half-volley finish put his team in front, showcasing his world-class finishing ability.

In his All-Star game debut, Son’s brace propelled the MLS All-Stars to a 2-1 lead over their Liga MX counterparts at the 35-minute mark of the first half.
