Minister of Unification Kim Yung Ho will appear on the 29th on Face: North’s Segment “Reality of North Korea, the Worst Violating Country Of Human Rights” of KFN’s (formerly National Defense TV) North Korea-specialized program.

According to the Ministry of National Defense, Minister Kim will provide unique insights into the reality of North Korea, including its economic and medical situation and surveillance system, based on the “North Korea: Economic and Social Perception Report” published by the Ministry of Unification in February.

This comprehensive report is the result of one-on-one in-depth interviews with 6,351 North Korean defectors over the past decade, conducted through the Ministry of Unification’s project, for collecting in-depth information on various aspects of North Korea’s economy and society.

Minister Kim will also reveal critical terms for a new unification discourse of abductees, North Korea’s diplomatic situation, and the free and peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula.

Face: North is a North Korea-specialized show planned and produced by KFN. It covers a variety of topics, including North Korea’s military, politics, society, and culture, under the subtitle “Facing the Reality of North Korea,” informing the public about the reality of North Korea.

Face: North, broadcast since last May, will end its first season on that day.
