A recent global market research firm, Gartner, survey reveals that 85% of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) worldwide consider cybersecurity crucial for business growth.

According to TechRadar, 61% of respondents expressed concerns about cybersecurity threats. This apprehension has been particularly heightened by the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI).

Gartner further noted that the risk landscape has shifted due to changes in commercial activities and political debates surrounding AI. The firm emphasized that cybersecurity has evolved far beyond a mere protective system.

David Furlonger, Distinguished Vice President and Analyst at Gartner, noted that with 85% of CEOs recognizing the importance of cybersecurity, security leaders now have a unique opportunity to demonstrate the value of cybersecurity investments, not just in protecting assets, but in supporting broader strategic business goals.

He further advised that CEOs should emphasize security leaders’ vital role in protecting the organization and driving growth by implementing robust cybersecurity measures.
