North Korea is encouraging economic achievements ahead of the 80th anniversary of the Workers’ Party in October. So far, it has not made any significant remarks regarding South Korea’s presidential election.

The Workers’ Party’s official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, urged on its front page on Wednesday that it must welcome the glorious October with proud achievements, calling on residents in coal mines, steel mills, and construction sites across the country to accelerate their efforts.

The newspaper emphasized on the same page that the party’s policies are an all-powerful encyclopedia, encouraging the people to study and implement these policies more thoroughly.

Page 2 reported that a delegation of Korean students from Japan, led by the principal of Kobe Korean Senior High School, arrived in Pyongyang on Tuesday to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Korean Children’s Union.

Page 3 covered the economic mobilization activities aimed at increasing grain production. The newspaper stated that artists from the Mansudae Art Troupe are visiting key socialist construction sites to support agricultural workers in intensifying their farming efforts.

Page 4 featured stories about patriotic contributors to socialism. The newspaper emphasized the importance of educating future generations, noting that the country’s future is bright and promising because of the strong relationships between parents and children that pass down patriotism as a family tradition.
