Hugel is expanding its collaboration with Korean medical professionals, strengthening its market presence. The company aims to cement its leadership in the Korean aesthetics market.

Hugel announced on Monday that it will host the nationwide academic program H.E.L.F. ACT in Region four times this year. The inaugural event, held at the Signiel Hotel in Busan on May 9, drew approximately 50 healthcare practitioners.

This initiative is designed to deepen understanding of Hugel’s key product lines and enhance their practical application in clinical settings. The program goes beyond basic product education, focusing on sharing clinical experiences to optimize procedure safety and efficacy.

Dr. Choi Woo-sik, director of Lamar Clinic in Ulsan, presented innovative approaches to facial rejuvenation using the Biorezin Skin Booster Hyaluronic Acid (HA).

Dr. Oh Wook, head of Meilin Clinic at The Hyundai Seoul, led an engaging discussion on persistent challenges in filler and neurotoxin procedures, sparking in-depth conversations among attendees.

Hugel plans to host subsequent events in Seoul, Incheon, and Daejeon in June, September, and December, respectively. As a frontrunner in the Korean medical aesthetics industry, the company aims to deliver a unique, integrated message to healthcare professionals.

Hugel’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Doo-hyun Jang, stated that this academic program supports Korean medical professionals who are at the forefront of promoting K-aesthetic culture. It’s designed to share clinical insights. It’s committed to building global academic excellence and a sustainable industry culture, rooted in strong partnerships with Korean healthcare providers.

In related news, Hugel is ramping up its expansion into the Indonesian market. The company recently conducted a comprehensive training program on its botulinum toxin product Letybo (known as Botulax in Korea) for over 200 Indonesian medical professionals and healthcare officials.

This event was part of the annual Parvus Summit, organized by local distributor Parvus.

Dr. Park Young-jin, a renowned Korean healthcare professional from Songdo Oblive Clinic, delivered the keynote address, highlighting Letybo’s unique narrow diffusion profile, which garnered significant interest from attendees.

Since its entry into Indonesia in September 2024, Hugel anticipates that these efforts will enhance local practitioners’ proficiency with Letybo, ultimately boosting brand loyalty in this emerging market.
