Pharma Research Medicare, a subsidiary of Pharma Research, unveiled its latest product on Thursday – Rejuve-MD Cream, an adhesive transparent wound dressing containing hydrolyzed DNA (c-PDRN) extracted from salmon.

This innovative derma solution is designed to protect the skin barrier and care for damaged skin. Approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as a Class II medical device, Rejuve-MD Cream forms a physical protective barrier when applied to sensitive skin affected by burns or dryness, shielding it from external irritants.

The cream also helps create an optimal environment for skin recovery by minimizing moisture loss through the inhibition of transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Its versatile formula allows for seamless integration into daily routines, including use before and after makeup application.

At the heart of Rejuve-MD Cream is c-PDRN, a highly purified nucleic acid component refined using Pharma Research’s proprietary DNA optimization technology. Extracted and purified from salmon DNA, c-PDRN is a key ingredient in skin regeneration and barrier restoration.

Another crucial component is filaggrin, a protein essential for moisture retention in the stratum corneum and protection against external irritants. Filaggrin levels are known to decrease in sensitive skin or skin damaged by medical procedures.

The introduction of Rejuve-MD Cream expands Pharma Research Medicare’s pharmacy channel brand lineup, Rejuve. The range now includes the over-the-counter Rejuve Neck Cream, the cosmetic Rejuve-S Ampoule, and the medical device Rejuve-MD Cream.

This expansion is part of Pharma Research Medicare’s strategy to establish a comprehensive, pharmacy-centered skincare solution tailored to various skin conditions and needs.

A spokesperson for Pharma Research Medicare commented that today’s consumers are seeking professional skincare solutions that go beyond basic hydration, addressing specific skin conditions and concerns. Leveraging the diverse Rejuve brand lineup, which spans pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and medical devices, it aims to offer more specialized skincare solutions through pharmacies.
