On Thursday, Hyundai Motor Group announced its impressive haul of 16 awards at the 2026 IDEA Design Awards, hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).

The IDEA Design Awards are considered one of the world’s top three design competitions, alongside Germany’s iF Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award. Since 1980, these prestigious awards have recognized excellence in design across various categories, evaluating entries based on innovation, user benefits, and social responsibility.

Hyundai Motor Group showcased its design prowess at this year’s IDEA Design Awards, clinching two Gold Awards, one Silver Award, three Bronze Awards, and ten Finalist Awards, for a total of 16 accolades.

Hyundai’s E3W & E4W Micro Mobility Concept and the Na Oh Restaurant Book from Hyundai Motor Group’s Singapore Global Innovation Center (HMGICS) each secured Gold Awards in the concept and advanced design and branding categories, respectively.

The E3W & E4W Micro Mobility Concept, unveiled last year, reimagines India’s ubiquitous motor rickshaw as a cutting-edge electric platform. Industry experts praised its compact design, ideal for navigating congested urban environments, along with its flexible seating and optimized space utilization, making it a versatile solution for passenger transport, logistics, and emergency services.

The Na Oh Restaurant Book chronicles the brand philosophy and creation story of the Korean restaurant Na Oh within HMGICS. It earned accolades for its exceptional brand storytelling, highlighting collaborations with Michelin 3-star chef Corey Lee, partnerships with Korean artisans, and a seamless blend of Korean cultural heritage and contemporary aesthetics.

Genesis’ high-performance concept, the Magma GT Concept, clinched a Silver Award in the automotive and transportation category.

The Magma GT Concept turns heads with its low-slung, wide-bodied silhouette and elongated roofline, while its aerodynamic design underscores the brand’s performance-driven ethos. Conceived as a two-seater luxury grand tourer (GT), it embodies Genesis’ design philosophy of Athletic Elegance.
