Polestar has unveiled its Formula 2030 Concept Car on Tuesday, showcasing the brand’s future design direction.

The Formula 2030 Concept Car previews design elements set to appear in the new Polestar 2, slated for a 2027 launch, and the upcoming Polestar 7, further emphasizing the brand’s performance-driven identity.

Polestar explained that they have boldly evolved their signature Scandinavian design language.

Philip Rommeus, Head of Design, stated that given Polestar’s already established strong design and brand identity, it believes in bold evolution rather than complete revolution.

He added that this concept car not only showcases Polestar’s future but also maintains iconic design elements like the dual-blade headlights, preserving Polestar’s distinctive and powerful identity.

The Formula 2030 Concept Car will make its debut to investors, retailers, and select Very Important Person (VIP) customers at the Formula 2030 strategy event held at Polestar’s Swedish headquarters.

It’s set for an official global media unveiling during the Polestar 4 sport utility vehicle (SUV) media drive this October at Spain’s Ascari racetrack.

In related news, Polestar’s U.S. division introduced the mid-size electric SUV Polestar 3 to the American market last July. Pricing starts at 83,900 USD for the rear-motor version, 89,900 USD for the dual-motor variant, and 104,900 USD for the performance model.
