Hyundai Motor Company, Kia, and Genesis announced on Tuesday that they will offer a special free inspection service at automotive service centers nationwide from September 21 to 23.
This three-day initiative aims to enhance customer safety by thoroughly checking crucial vehicle components and functions before the Chuseok holiday, a period known for increased long-distance travel.
The complimentary inspection will cover a range of essential items, including engine oil, brake fluid, coolant levels, battery condition, tire wear and pressure, climate control systems, lighting, brake pads, and windshield washer fluid.
Hyundai and Genesis owners can access this service at any of the 1,203 Blue Hands service centers across the country, while Kia customers can visit one of the 750 Auto Q centers. By presenting a free inspection coupon, customers can receive the service at no cost. It’s worth noting that direct-operated centers are not participating in this program.
Customers can obtain the free inspection coupons on a first-come, first-served basis from September 9 to 11 through the brands’ respective customer service Applelications: My Hyundai, Hyundai Certified Used Cars, Kia, and My Genesis.
A spokesperson for Hyundai Motor Group stated that it has implemented this free inspection service to ensure the customers can travel with greater safety and peace of mind during the Chuseok holiday, which typically sees a significant increase in long-distance driving.
This initiative follows similar free inspection services offered by Hyundai Motor Group earlier this year during the Lunar New Year holiday and the summer vacation period.
