Brooks Koepka, a five-time major champion, is set to join the innovative indoor golf league, Tomorrow’s Golf League (TGL).

TGL announced on Thursday that Koepka will be the inaugural player for the Motor City Golf Club, joining the league’s third season in 2027.

Koepka’s interest in the league was piqued after he attended a TGL match at the Sofi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, last February.

After witnessing a TGL match firsthand, he felt it brought a completely fresh perspective to golf, Koepka remarked. The game’s energy, fast pace, and team dynamics were incredibly impressive. He knew he wanted to be part of this exciting venture.

The Motor City Golf Club, TGL’s first expansion team, is slated to join the league for the 2027 season. The roster, beyond Koepka, will be unveiled over the coming months.

TGL, a cutting-edge screen golf league, is the brainchild of golf legends Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

Koepka, a former world No. 1, boasts an impressive major championship record with five victories, including two U.S. Open titles and three Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) Championships. This year marked his return to the PGA Tour after a stint with LIV Golf. Despite competing in 16 tournaments this season, he has managed only one top-10 finish.
