Huawei announced on Friday that it unveiled its innovative strategies for next-generation 5G Advanced (5G-A) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies at the recent MWC Shanghai 2025 event.

A Huawei spokesperson highlighted the company’s showcase of various innovative cases centered around three key pillars: services, infrastructure, and operations. In the infrastructure sector, Huawei presented examples of AI-driven network construction and operation, as well as implementations of AI computing hubs.

At the exhibition, Huawei also introduced its AI Ultra-Broadband (AI UBB) integrated solution, which encompasses home internet infrastructure and transmission networks. The company further demonstrated applications of AI-based computing services for training and inference.

Eric Xu, Huawei’s Deputy Chairman of the Board and Rotating Chairman, noted that China’s telecommunications industry has transitioned into a stable growth phase after nearly four decades of rapid expansion. He added that Huawei is poised to collaborate with telecom operators to design sustainable, long-term growth strategies.
